MzansiDate – Terms & Conditions

1) Who we are

MzansiDate (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides an online dating service via mzansidate.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).

2) Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.

3) Your account

  • You are responsible for activity on your account.
  • You must not share your account or use someone else’s account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or harm the community.

4) Community rules

To keep MzansiDate safe and welcoming, you agree that you will not:

  • Harass, bully, threaten, impersonate, stalk, or defame others.
  • Post illegal content, hate content, sexual content involving minors, or anything exploitative.
  • Share someone else’s personal information without permission.
  • Use the Service for scams, solicitation, or commercial spam.
  • Upload content you do not have the rights to use.

We may remove content and take action (including suspension/termination) if we believe content or behaviour violates these rules.

5) Content you upload

  • You keep ownership of your content (photos, text, etc.).
  • You grant us a limited licence to host, store, display, and process your content solely to operate and improve the Service.
  • You confirm you have the rights and permission to upload your content.

6) Safety

  • Meeting people online carries risks. Use good judgement and take precautions when meeting in person.
  • We do not run background checks and cannot guarantee user identity.
  • Report suspicious behaviour to us. If you feel in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

7) Subscriptions, payments & refunds

Some features are available via a paid subscription (“Pro”). Prices and features are shown at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by our payment provider (e.g., Stripe).

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You can cancel at any time through your account/billing page. Access may continue until the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds: Unless required by law, fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period starts. If you believe a payment was made in error, contact us as soon as possible.

8) Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We may also introduce limits or restrictions to protect the community and service quality.

9) Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MzansiDate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11) Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk, or harm the community. Where possible we may give notice, but this is not always required.

12) Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal data. By using the Service, you agree to our Privacy Policy.

13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. If changes are significant, we may provide notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
